Today designers have drawn inspiration from the legendary bikes of the past, in particular the extraordinary 8-cylinder of 1955. This incredible bike was developed to compete in the 500 class at the World Championships and set a remarkable benchmark in the world of motorcycle manufacture.

The colours of a legend There are some distinctive model colours, in particular green, in Moto Guzzi's hisotry which have captured the very essence of racing. Such colours where also distinctive on the Bialbero 350, one of history's most successful racing bikes, which dominated the World Championship 350 class with a jaw-dropping 9 consecutive titles (5 rider and 4 manufacturer) between 1953 and 1957.

On the wings of the Eagle Green was also the colour of the Normale, Moto Guzzi's first-ever model, with this colour ever since being considered the Eagles most iconic hue. In the centenary editions this shade has been reinterpreted in contemporary matt and metallic variations, with a complementing leather seat and a special gold finish anniversary logo, which are a nod to Italian style and design.
