Following on from the success of the Tuareg Racing project, we bring you the Aprilia Tuareg Rally, a derivation of the competition version which was crowned Queen of Africa in the Africa Eco Race. Introducing the new twin-cylinder benchmark which is looking to dominate the most challenging off-road adventures. Meanwhile, the Aprilia Tuareg 660 continues to evolve, courtesy of a new Euro 5+ engine, redesigned front lighting unit and brand-new racing colour options.
Aprilia Tuareg Rally is available in the very same unmistakable “Rally race replica” colour that adorned Jacopo Cerutti's bike when he crossed the legendary Dakar finish line in first place in January 2024. The fork, wheel rims and handlebar are all finished in a sporty anodised gold colour, while tapered lines, an ultra-protective aluminium sump and a new high mudguard showcase the bike's uncompromising off-road character. The raised seat and larger handlebar offer increased control while riding in standing position on particularly extreme stretches.
Equipped with an updated engine map, Aprilia Tuareg Rally offers a quicker, more responsive throttle response. This setup ensures optimal control when overcoming obstacles, allowing for precise handling on the most challenging off-road sections. The SC Project exhaust, specifically designed for the Rally, is made from titanium and features a racing end cap with a 60 mm outlet to enhance performance and sound. It also reduces the overall weight of the motorcycle to a curb weight of just 199 kg.
Aprilia Tuareg Rally is equipped for the most challenging off-road conditions, thanks to heavy-duty spoked wheels with narrow Ergal rims and knobby tyres with inner tubes. The Kayaba suspension provides 240 mm of travel, the best among twin-cylinder bikes, and features linear constant-rate springs that enhance handling on rough terrain and reduce static sag, adding height to the bike.
